Predator sense isn't a good solution. only auto, max and manual states can be chosen.
Manual just setting current max speed which is not corresponds to the temperature of the CPU. Also there is no solution in BIOS to decrease CPU performance as on
PHN16-71. Lenovo Legion Pro5 with same i7-14650hx provides all user needed bios configs for thin configuring.

    Hi Dimmetrius

To reduce CPU temps and fan spikes on the PHN16-72, try these steps:

🔧 Disable Processor Performance Boost: Use Regedit to unhide the "Processor Performance Boost Mode" setting:

    • Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00\be337238-0d82-4146-a960-4f3749d470c7
    • Change Attributes from 1 to 2 This reveals the boost option in advanced power settings, allowing you to set it to Disabled.

⚙️ Choose the right power plans:

    • Set Balanced Mode in PredatorSense
    • In Windows' Power & Battery settings, select Best Power Efficiency

🧬 Update BIOS: Ensure your system runs BIOS version 1.17, which improves thermal behavior and unlocks more performance flags internally.
