Hey @Phymos — great question! The second M.2 slot on the Nitro AN515-58-72FA supports PCIe NVMe Gen 4 x4 SSDs, and yes, it uses the standard 2280 size (22mm x 80mm). So you’re good to go with most mainstream Gen 4 drives like the Crucial P3 Plus, WD Black SN850X, or Samsung 980 Pro.

Just make sure the SSD has a single-sided layout if you want optimal thermal clearance—some double-sided models run hotter in tight chassis.

Let us know what drive you’re eyeing and we can help confirm compatibility!

For the second M.2 slot in your Acer Nitro AN515-58-72FA, it supports PCIe NVMe SSDs—specifically Gen 4.0 x4 for fast performance and high-speed data transfer and uses the standard 2280 form factor (22mm × 80mm).
