What is the exact Nitro 5 model number of your laptop? As with these gaming laptops the first thing you have to do is reset them, if you are getting the symptoms that you are getting.

I suggest that you do a Hard Reset, by taking the main battery out and then press the power key for 15 seconds to release all power out of the laptop, then take the ram out and then disconnect the bios battery and then at the bios battery mainboard plug, shot the plugs +&- pins monetarily. Leave the laptop like that for about 30min so that the laptops main chips like its EC, QB , chipset and bios chips reset properly and then put everything back together again and try to connect your Nitro 5 laptop to the TVs HDMI plug, as it should work.

If that doesn’t work then you have a main dedicated gpu problem or other problems with your Nitro 5 laptop and I suggest that you take the laptop to a technician to fix. Good luck.

You don't need to do anything in the bios, have the bios at default settings, the problem is with the HDMI connection to the TV and to your AN515-51 HDMI port, make sure you have a HDMI v2.0 or newer cable that you are connecting the laptop to the TV with and its a new and a working cable, as that is important. make sure that the HDMI port at the laptop is clean and the TVs HDMI port is clean also, clean both ports with isopoll alcohol to make sure that their connections are making full and 100% connection.
