Hi I have a aspire 3 model n20c5 and I was wondering if there any way of increasing the ram speed because the ram can go up to 3200mhz but it's constantly at a 1300mhz range. I've tried all methods I can think of including looking in bios to no prevail. Any help would be appreciated 👍

    Hi Matchue

If you're seeing “1300MHz,” you're either reading the clock speed instead of the DDR (double data rate) effective speed, or you're using a RAM module that’s incompatible (e.g., one with XMP profiles unsupported by the BIOS), causing it to run below standard JEDEC speeds. Your Aspire 3 (N20C5) uses DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM, and while 3200MHz modules are physically compatible, the controller and BIOS limit memory to 2400MHz.
