Hi I am Arpan, basically few days ago my laptop was running well and suddenly one day it was idle on windows desktop with no work running either in the foreground and background, the laptop shuts itself off with a click sound, and tries to turn on by itself, but it failed to start and post….The power light glows up, the battery light glows up while charging as usual but the hdd light glows for about 3 seconds after I press the power button but then turns off and doesn't glow up any more….The keyboard backlight is on, but caps lock is not responding….the screen's backlight is on….usually when the laptop was running well, the wireless switch light used to glow, but it doesn't glow anymore…..

I tried replacing ram, hdd and SSD,ss power supply, tried running without the battery, removed all usb peripheral devices but no sign of life….Also whenever I press the power button now, it starts but don't post shut itself off after 3 seconds, again turns on shuts with a click sound after some seconds and again turns on for the third and last time but again it turns itself off……

Can anyone help me to fix this up?

Those types of symptoms can often be traced to a corrupted BIOS. When the laptop is powered on one of the first th8ings that happens is the BIOS is copied to memory, then executed to start POST. You don't tell us what laptop you have, which is why there have been no responses so far. If yours has a CMOS battery, try removing it, waiting overnight then putting a new one in. If it starts to boot enter the BIOS and do a reset to defaults before trying to load the OS.
