I am experiencing an issue with the GPU on my ANV15-41 laptop. Two days ago, while playing Marvel Rivals with a friend, the game abruptly closed after the match ended, and a prompt appeared stating that the GPU had crashed. The game suggested clearing redundant files, which I did using the game’s own application to remove local redundant files.
I did not play again until yesterday, when I started Hitman. I noticed a significant drop in FPS compared to the previous times I played the game and opened NitroSense, where I saw that the dedicated GPU was turned off. I then went to the Device Manager and re-enabled the GPU, but the issue persisted. I attempted several troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling the GPU drivers, clearing the shader cache, performing a clean driver installation, and even uninstalling and reinstalling the device via the Device Manager.
Currently, the laptop is only utilizing the integrated graphics provided by the CPU, rather than the dedicated GPU. While the GPU shows as connected, it does not allocate VRAM for some applications. For those applications that do use VRAM, the usage does not exceed 1GB, and the GPU utilization remains below 20%. I also checked the BIOS, but unfortunately, my laptop’s BIOS does not display any display settings, which complicates the troubleshooting process.
I have tried all available solutions, but the problem remains unresolved. Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
