Hi everyone,

After upgrading my Acer laptop to Windows 11, the sound completely stopped working — no audio from the speakers or headphones. I’ve tried checking the volume settings and reinstalling the Realtek drivers, but no luck so far.

No sound after the Windows 11 upgrade on Acer may be due to driver incompatibility—try using the Windows 10 Realtek driver or running the audio troubleshooter.

Well I will suggest you to check your audio driver sometime while update to windows upgraded version some drive might not get update it is rare but some time it happen. So I will suggest you to check your audio driver if it's missing than install it in your system or in case your driver is outdated then update your audio driver to it latest version. You can update or reinstall the driver manually by going in the driver manager as you have try this already if you do this manually and it don't work then in that case I will suggest you to try a good driver updater tool like Advanced Driver Updater to update your driver to it's latest version.

And also try to Run Windows Troubleshooter

    • Go to Settings > System > Sound
    • Click Troubleshoot under "Output"
    • Let Windows detect and fix common audio issues

No sound from speakers or headphones after upgrading my Acer laptop to Windows 11. I’m Prakash Hinduja from Geneva, Switzerland. I’ve already checked volume settings and reinstalled Realtek audio drivers, but the issue remains unresolved. Looking for help or suggestions to fix this sound problem.
