Ati Mobility Radeon + Aspire 5100

Hi I'm here today 11/21/2012 cuz I have a simple question.

 

Can I upgrade the graphics device for Aspire 5100?

 

I was reading the User's Manual and I didn't know that I can do that. A few months ago I upgrade the CPU. (AMD Athlon 64 x2 TK-53 to AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile TL-60 Tyler 65nm Technology) and works great

 

Now surfing by internet I was watching at AMD website some graphic devices like a ATI Mobility Radeon™ x1900 . But I don't if I can use this, because the User's Manual say "ATI Mobility™ Radeon® X1300/X1600". I don't know maybe at the time when the model of my laptop was released the ATI Mobility Radeon™ x1900 didn't exist yet.

 

So please DON'T SAY YOU CAN'T DO THAT!

 

Because when I asked to upgrade the CPU some people from the old Acer's support website told me "you can not do that because the CPU is factory welded", I answered him "thats a good joke, you are a official technical from Acer and you didn't know you can do that".

Well in conclution I just want a simple answer. If I can use ATI Mobility Radeon™ x1900 on my Aspire 5100 Yes or NOT.

No, you can't. Video chip is embedded on mainboard.
