Does Acer Aspire A515-57G (RTX 2050) support 90W USB-C PD charging?

Hi everyone,

I have an Acer Aspire A515-57G with an RTX 2050 GPU. My original 90W barrel-tip charger stopped working due to an internal circuit fault, and unfortunately, it could not be repaired. I’ve also been unable to find a genuine or trusted replacement.

I tested a 65W USB-C charger of a dell laptop from a friend, and it powers the laptop successfully — but I’d like to know if this model supports 90W USB-C PD charging, especially for better performance under heavy usage or gaming.

Can anyone confirm if the USB-C port on this model supports higher-wattage PD charging (e.g., 90W), or is it limited to 65W max?

The laptop claims a strong battery life and it ships with a 90W adaptor. It's a Type-C charger, so you can use the phone's charge to power the device. The laptop runs Windows 11 Home and comes with nearly no bloatware. The Acer Aspire A515-57G is a solid laptop for productivity, creativity as well as gaming needs.

Getting a higher wattage charger is fine but the laptop can get only 65W maximum.
