Hello,

I bought a pre-built Acer Predator Orion 3000 a while ago and I decided that I wanted to be able to play some more competitive games and to do so I would need to upgrade my GPU from an Nvidia 1660 Gtx Super to at least a Nvidia 3060. When I was researching this upgrade, I saw that I would need to upgrade my power supply unit, so I looked into what I thought I would need and ordered a 750W unit. However, when it arrived and I got to taking out my old unit, I realized that my CPU has an Atx-2 port AND an Atx-3 port, although the PSU I got only had 2x Atx-2 plugs.

Is this something I can search for when buying a PSU or am I SOL? I tried looking at some other units online but I didn't see any specifications.

I don't know which exact Predator Orion desktop model you have, like PO3-6xx, but the 2023 released Acer Predator Orion model PO3-655 has a 750W PSU that will fit and work with your PO3-6xx model like you have shown in the captions above, as the PO3-655 oem 750W PSU, has an ATX1 - 6 pin plug and 2x 4pin - ATX2 and 3 plugs which will fit your board for a new upgraded PSU.

I suggest that you send your new 24pin PSU back and get your money back, and buy on eBay the PO3-655 oem 750W PSU below model PSU, as buying this PSU, is the easiest solution for you to solve this problem. Good luck and hope this helps you out to solve this problem.
