Hey @billylynn8644 , looks like your Acer A315-23 is having trouble locating the drive during boot, and Secure Boot being disabled might be part of the issue.

If you're switching from Kali Linux to Windows, your BIOS and bootable USB stick need to match in mode (UEFI vs Legacy) and security settings.

    Here’s what you can do:

    ✅ Quick Fix Steps:

    1. Enter BIOS Setup (usually by pressing F2 during boot)
    2. Go to Boot > Boot Mode → set it to UEFI
    3. Then go to Security > Secure Boot → set to Enabled
    4. If it says “Custom” or shows Secure Boot keys, choose Install Default Keys
    5. Save and exit BIOS

Once Secure Boot is enabled and your boot mode is UEFI, Windows Setup should detect your drive properly.

    💡 Pro Tip:

Use Rufus to create your bootable Windows USB stick. It lets you:

    • Format the stick as GPT + UEFI
    • Ensure Secure Boot compatibility
    • Avoid Legacy boot issues common with Linux setups
