I recently purchased a monitor arm that’s advertised as compatible with ultrawide curved monitors, but I’m having trouble mounting it to my display. The VESA mount on my monitor is recessed quite deeply, and the mounting hook on the arm doesn’t have enough clearance to attach securely. I’ve tried using the included spacers, but they didn’t resolve the issue—the edge of the recess is still obstructing the mount.

I’m wondering if I might need a special bracket or adapter, or if there’s something I’m overlooking.

Use standoffs at a proper height to bring the screw holes out to the surface. There should have been a set of four in a little baggy in the box with the monitor.
