Clean the vents, use a cooling pad, repaste CPU/GPU set fan to max in NitroSense lower in-game settings and undervolt the CPU.

First enable CoolBoost through the NitroSense app to maximize fan efficiency. Ensure all system drivers and GPU drivers are up to date using Intel Driver & Support Assistant and GeForce Experience, respectively. It's also important to update the BIOS from Acer’s official website and keep Windows fully updated for optimal thermal control. Regularly clean dust from vents and fans using compressed air to maintain proper airflow. Finally, if the laptop has been used for over a year and high temperatures persist, consider having the thermal paste reapplied at an authorized service center for safe and effective cooling maintenance.

Your CPU "die" limit is 100 (C). 185 (F) is 38 (C) so not too much to worry about. Blow a short burst of compressed air into the vents/fan - even a tiny amount of dust in a vent can prevent air flow. Do not re-paste the CPU/GPU unless absolutely necessary.

Yes, sorry, I think I need new glasses! The compressed air advice still stands.

Are these temps when idle? If so, the CPU might be damaged.

Yup the temps are when my laptop is completely idle.

Ill try to take it to a repair shop since ive gotten nothing to compress air.

    Thankyou!

You can get a can of compressed air for a under five pounds from Amazon (and other retailers).
