I ran battery calibration on my 3 days old acer predator helios neo 14. The battery was almost full so the charging part finished under 30 minutes. But it says 'Time remains for this stage:10hr 30mins" while discharging. Do I really have to wait 10 hours? Does this process accelerate after sometime? Can I use my laptop to play light games during this process?

My WiFi is off, brightness set to 29%.

Also, I don't know why but my battery health decreased from 73,350mwh to 72,346 mwh within 3 days. Is this normal? or did it happen because I played games on battery?

The "Time remains for this stage: 10hr 30 mins" message during battery calibration while discharging indicates that the calibration process, which involves discharging the battery to a low level, is estimated to take another 10 hours and 30 minutes. This is a normal part of the process, especially if the device is set to discharge slowly, and it can take several hours for the battery to fully drain during calibration.

    Here's a more detailed explanation:-
Battery Calibration Purpose: Battery calibration is a process that helps the device's battery management system accurately track the battery's state of charge (SOC). Over time, battery capacity readings can become inaccurate, leading to issues like the device shutting down unexpectedly or displaying incorrect battery percentage.
    Discharge Stage:
The discharge stage of calibration involves letting the battery drain completely until the device shuts off. This allows the system to recalibrate its understanding of the battery's capacity and remaining charge.
    Time Estimate:
The "Time remains for this stage" message is an estimate and can vary based on factors like battery health, device usage during discharge, and power consumption.
    Normal Occurrence:
It's normal for the discharge phase to take several hours, especially if the device is set to discharge slowly to ensure accurate calibration. Some devices might take 12-14 hours or even longer for this stage.
    Next Steps:-
Once the device shuts off due to low battery during calibration, you'll typically need to fully charge the device again to complete the process.
