When I turn the power for computer off, monitor stays on. My question is that if there is a setting or switch that will allow me to manually turn it off monitor when I am done with computer? Presently I am pulling the monitor power plug off.

when you turn the computer off the monitor should turn off. if there is light glowing on the monitor you can turn the monitor power off by pressing the switch on the monitor.

Sorry, there is no power button in the monitor; I have checked front, sides, and back. There is only one button at the back which is used for monitor configuration. And that does not have any power off option.

We need to see the full model number, not just the main monitor series number. There should be a bunch more letters after the EK251Q on the label at the back. Often the power button function is handled by that joystick on the back, you press it to turn it on.

    Hi,

This is the info on back sticker:

    Model number reads: EK251Q

    Version: EK251Q Gbi

    Power Rating: 12V… 2.0A

    Part Number: UM, KE1AA, G01

    Mfg Date: Sep 2024

    Serial Number: ..

So there is no additional info after Model Number (unless you are referring to Version number.

The joy stick at back when pressed bring monitor configuration menu. There is option for power there.

OK, the EK251Q Gbi seems to be a model designed for Malaysia and we don't have access to details specs or a service guide. What does the user manual say?
