Acersense says 'Device not supported' on Aspire 5, fan control needed

I need to get AcerSense onto my Aspire 5 laptop  to try and kill the endless maddening fan noise.

Manually adjusting the Maximum Processor State settings on the Processor Power Management setup - as the default recommended fix - has not done a thing.

I have downloaded the correct AcerSense for my correct serial number information but….Device Not Supported. I sense this issue has come up several times in the forum.

Have uninstalled in turn and tried this several times with no success.

Have also attempted a direct download from the Microsoft Store but this has just produced an inanimate screen.

Any guidance much appreciated.....

What is your full laptop model like A515-54G and what Windows11 version do you have like 24H2. Instead of throttling the processor power you can also try changing the boost mode from Aggressive to Efficient Enabled (see picture)
