my Acer nitro 5 laptop does not detect my Nvidia driver as primary graphic driver, it takes my AMD Radeon driver and it only shows that…its making me restrict usage of software and slows down my system……how to fix this??? i have downloaded the latest drivers and installed it more than a dozen times and went to computer centers multiple time but still its not getting solved.

    Welcome @kavyan,

    If your laptop's discrete graphics controller (NVIDIA) is being displayed in Device Manager (devmgmt.msc) with error 43, it may be caused by:

    • BGA solder cracked;
    • GPU or VRAM chip fault;
    • VBIOS corrupted.

    Check Device Manager to confirm GPU visibility, use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) in Safe Mode to clean out old AMD and NVIDIA drivers, then reinstall both from official sources. Updating BIOS and chipset drivers from Acer’s official site can also help, but only if newer versions are available for your model.
