I have an Acer Chromebook Spin 311. Recently, it stopped charging. Every so often it would charge but now, it doesn’t charge. It’s powered off and I can’t power it back on. (I tried holding the power button and the reset button. It didn’t work.) I tried various chargers, I tried leaving it charging for extended period of time. Nothing worked. The charge red light indicator is still on; it’s not blinking but it’s on. I’m a college student and all my information and class work are on there. Please someone help me.

First, unplug the charger and press and hold the Power and Refresh (⟳) keys together for at least 10 seconds, then release and try turning it on. If that doesn’t help, look underneath the device for a small battery reset pinhole—if present, gently press it with a paperclip for 10–15 seconds, then reconnect the charger and try powering on again. Leave the Chromebook plugged into a known-good charger and outlet for at least 30–60 minutes, even if there’s no sign of life. Also, try using a different wall outlet or a USB-C charger (if your model supports it).
