Just bought a Predator P03-630, when I boot up lights comes & just sits there not booting up at all.

An issue that has come up with this unit. I upgraded my RAM from 32 GB to 128 GB, now when I boot up the computer the lights come on for the computer, mouse and keyboard and then it just sits there not booting up completely. Then I power it down wait a few minutes and power it backs up and it comes up just fine. I checked the BIOS and it recognizes the 128 GBs just fine, as well as when I have the OS up and go to computer properties it sees the 128 GBs and I receive no error messages on the OS or the POST test on bootup.

I hope you have fitted 4x 32GB DDR4-3200MT/s CL22 type ram and its not an XMP overclocked ram and you are running the last PO3-630 bios dated: 2022/03/22 version R01-A4 as all this is essential if you are running the full capacity memory that the 11th Gen Intel cpu can operate with. Also make sure that you have all the Win-11 24H2 updates and up to date to the last OS build: 26100.4351, as that helps also. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Fast Startup Feature: Windows 10 and 11 come with a 'Fast Startup' feature, which essentially puts your PC into a hibernation state instead of fully shutting it down. Sometimes, this feature can cause a double boot sequence as the system initializes.

Thanks I think this is probably the problem this was sold on New Egg as having DDR4-2666 RAM however it was actually 3200 as you specified. Can I work with the DDR4-2666 CL16 sticks that I put in or will I have to change it out? I was looking at Corsair 3200 CL16 to replace it if necessary will this work?

I guess another question I have is, is it important for me to match Cache Latency or can I use RAM with lower Cache Latency to boost performance up a little?

Do NOT fit lower or higher cache latency type ram to what Acer designed this desktop for, which the DDR4-3200MT/s CL22 only and only normal type ram. Do NOT use overclocked or XMP type ram also. See my message to you for further details on the PO3-630 ram, cpu's and SSD M/2 drives that you should upgrade to for a proper gaming and editing rig. Good luck.
