I had a graphics driver update when I opened the intel graphics app and did the installation. When I restarted the laptop it booted perfectly but as soon as reached the desktop the windows crashed with error code memory_management. I tried restarting my laptop but now as I press the power button it turns on the keyboard lights but shows a black screen. Even the Acer logo does not appear. I can not do anything.

Update: The laptop booted once and I roll backed the graphics driver but the issue did not end.

A black screen on your Acer Swift Go 14 SFG14-71 can be caused by a few things, including hardware issues, software glitches, or driver problems. First, try a hard restart by holding down the power button for 10-15 seconds to shut down the laptop completely. Then, disconnect the power adapter and any other devices, and remove the battery if possible. Wait a short period, then reconnect everything and power on the laptop. If the issue persists, you may need to troubleshoot further, potentially involving checking connections, updating drivers, or seeking professional help.

    Here's a more detailed breakdown:-
    1. Hard Restart:
Hold the power button for 10-15 seconds to ensure the laptop is completely off.
Disconnect the power adapter and any other devices (USB drives, external monitors, etc.).
If your battery is removable, disconnect it as well.
    Wait for about 30 seconds.
Reconnect the power adapter and battery (if removed).
    Try turning on the laptop.

    2. Check Connections:
Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the laptop and a working power outlet.
If you are using an external monitor, make sure the video cable is properly connected.

    3. Troubleshoot Further (If Hard Restart Fails):
Boot into Safe Mode: If the laptop boots into Windows but still shows a black screen, you can try booting into Safe Mode. This starts Windows with minimal drivers and services, which can help isolate the problem. To boot into Safe Mode, you'll need to access the Advanced Boot Options menu. This is usually done by pressing a key (like F11, F12, or Del) during startup, but the specific key may vary depending on your Acer model.

Once in the Advanced Boot Options menu, select "Safe Mode" or "Safe Mode with Networking".
Check for Driver Issues:- If you can boot into Safe Mode, you can try updating or rolling back your graphics drivers. Corrupted or outdated graphics drivers can often cause black screen issues.
Open Device Manager (you can search for it in the Start menu).
    Expand "Display adapters".
Right-click on your graphics card and select "Update driver" or "Uninstall device".
If you choose "Uninstall device", you can then restart your computer and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

    Run Startup Repair:
Windows has a built-in Startup Repair tool that can attempt to fix boot-related issues.
You can access this tool through the Advanced Boot Options menu (as described above).

System Restore:- If you have a recent system restore point, you can try restoring your system to a previous state. This can be helpful if a recent software installation or update caused the problem. Access the System Restore tool through the Advanced Boot Options menu or the Recovery options in Settings.

    4. Seek Professional Help: If you've tried all the above steps and still have a black screen, it's possible there's a hardware problem with your laptop (e.g., a faulty motherboard, RAM, or display).
In this case, it's best to contact Acer support or take your laptop to a qualified computer repair technician for further diagnosis and repair.
