I’m having the same issue with an Aspire A315-35.

I temporarily removed the SSD to plug it into another PC, but unfortunately it got damaged and now my Aspire no longer detects it in the BIOS (I even tried removing the CMOS battery).

I bought a new SSD, which is recognized by the BIOS, but it shows up as HDD1 instead of HDD0. As expected, it won’t boot from it since there’s no OS installed yet.

The main issue is that no USB drive with a Windows 11 image is being recognized, so I can’t even start the installation process.

    What’s going on here?
@MalFr — were you able to solve this?

Make sure the F12 USB boot option menu is turned on in the BIOS Main page. Then re-boot while tapping the F12 key to boot from the USB Win11 installation stick.
