When powering on my newly purchased Veriton N4710GT the keyboard's LEDs (Num-/Caps-/Scroll-Lock) briefly flash multiple times. The BIOS then reports a keyboard error. Consequently, when the login screen appears I'm unable to enter my credentials. If I then unplug and re-plug the keyboard, it starts working and I can log into my system. In other words I'm forced to unplug and re-plug my keyboard, every time I start the system.
The keyboard works perfectly fine on all other machines I own.
I updated the BIOS to Version R02-A3 but the problem persists.
The BIOS option "Wake up on USB KB" seems to have an effect on the issue. When disabled, the keyboard successfully gets initialized in roughly every second boot attempt.
I request a fix for this issue.
Thank you.
