If your Acer Aspire A315-59 lags when plugged in, it's likely due to a power-saving mode or a driver issue. You can try adjusting your power plan settings to maximize performance when plugged in, updating your BIOS and drivers, or ensuring you're using the correct charger.
    Troubleshooting Steps:-

    1. Check Power Plan Settings:
Go to Settings > System > Power & Sleep > Additional Power Settings.
Under "Plugged In," ensure the power plan is set to "High Performance" or "Balanced" if you prefer to save some battery life.
You can also adjust advanced settings like "Maximum processor state" to 100% when plugged in.
    2. Update BIOS and Drivers:
Download the latest BIOS update and drivers for your Acer Aspire A315-59 from the Acer website.
Ensure your graphics drivers are also up to date, as some power-saving options in the graphics drivers can affect performance.
    3. Verify Charger Compatibility:
Make sure you're using the original charger that came with your laptop or a compatible charger with the correct voltage and amperage.
Using an incompatible charger may lead to slow charging or even discharging while plugged in.
    4. Check for Overheating:
Ensure your laptop isn't overheating when plugged in, as this can cause performance throttling.
Allow the laptop to cool down if it's overheating, and consider improving ventilation if necessary.
    5. Check for Malware or Background Processes:
Run a scan with your antivirus software to ensure there's no malware causing performance issues.
Close unnecessary programs and applications running in the background to free up resources.
      Additional Tips:
If the problem persists, you can try a clean boot of your operating system to identify if any third-party programs are interfering with performance.
Consider contacting Acer support for further assistance if you're still experiencing issues.
