Acer Nitro ANV15 - BIOS Locked & Boot Error After Windows Update

Hi everyone,

I’m facing a critical issue with my Acer Nitro ANV15 after a recent Windows BIOS update. My laptop shows a blue screen boot error on startup, and despite trying all possible fixes, the problem persists.

To make matters worse, my BIOS is locked, and I don’t know the correct password to unlock it. I’ve noticed several other Acer Nitro ANV15 users reporting the same issue, but no solution has been shared yet.

If anyone has experienced this or knows how to resolve it—especially regarding the BIOS lock—please help. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Please deliver your computer along with its warranty certificate and invoice to the nearest Acer service. They will provide the necessary information.

I attempted to contact Acer support through M&P in Pakistan, but unfortunately, I have not received a response yet. As Acer's support services seem limited in Pakistan, I need guidance on how to proceed. Specifically, I have a `code.txt` file generated during the BIOS unlock process, but I am unsure of the next steps to get the necessary unlock code.

Could you please advise me on how I can resolve this issue or if there is an alternative way to unlock my BIOS? I am happy to provide any additional information, including proof of purchase, if required.

Restart the notebook and press F2 to access the BIOS, and then it will ask you to enter the password. So, enter any wrong password 3 times. Then a message will appear telling you not to turn off the notebook, press OK, and then a message will appear asking you to generate and insert a FAT/FAT32 pendrive.

So, insert any pendrive, press OK and remove the pendrive. If you open it on another computer, there should be a code.txt file on it.

It is important to emphasize that after generating the code.txt, you cannot turn off the computer. You have to leave the screen to enter the unlock code that will be sent to you.
