Hello there. I was just wondering how to completely restore an Acer laptop back to Windows 10 factory again? I’ve tried Alt+F10, but I get a blue screen doing that. I used a flash drive with recovery on it, but it didn’t restore it back to factory. It currently has Windows 11, but I wanted to test Windows 10 again because my touchpad isn’t working no matter what I do to it unless I change it to PS2. I would appreciate any help that could be given. My laptop model is A515-56-50RS.

Hi, you have to create an installation USB flash drive with RUFUS or Windows Media Creation Tool, download the Windows10 22H2 ISO file from UUPdump.net, download the Intel IRST driver from the Acer Support page for your model and unzip that file, don't install but just copy the unzipped IRST driver to the USB flash drive that has the Windows ISO file. Install Windows10 on your boot drive. Alternatively take the laptop to Acer Services in your country to reset the system to factory default for a small service fee but that will be with OEM Windows11 as Windows10 will be no longer supported by Microsoft after August 2025.
