Aspire TC-895-Query reg: best upgrades for my motherboard

Recently I've been feeling like I should get an upgrade for my pc, I have quite a bit of games some like doom, destiny 2 and borderlands, and my pc can only run them while being around 30-80 fps on the lowest settings. Also, my pc has been acting weird like whenever id get a pop up on my screen my frames would drop, and id have to guess where my mouse is just to press okay. I want to upgrade without getting a new mother board because I don't have much money.

I currently have a Aspire TC-895 motherboard, an i5-10400 CPU, GT 1030, 12 GB of ram and 475 GB of storage.
