My Predator Orion 5000 PO5-625s randomly crashes and restarts itself - UPDATE

Me again 🥲

I somewhat recently posted another thread about this issue (https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/723372/my-predator-orion-5000-po5-625s-randomly-crashes-and-restarts-itself-no-matter-what-im-doing) and after this post, the issue seemed to be happening a lot less, and for about a few weeks, it didn't happen at all.

Unfortunately the issue is happening again now and it's possibly worse than before. I've checked the event viewer and I'm getting the error "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000116 (0xffffe78f4acf4460, 0xfffff80377b04930, 0xffffffffc000009a, 0x0000000000000004)" every time it happens.

ChatGPT said that the dump file that was created leads to an audio driver problem, but my drivers are up to date. Do I possibly need to downgrade the drivers? If so, how would I go about doing that?

Thank you. :)

If your Acer Predator Orion 5000 PO5-625s is experiencing random crashes and restarts, it could be due to overheating, faulty hardware, or software issues. To troubleshoot, check for signs of overheating, verify your GPU drivers, and consider returning the PC for a replacement if other solutions don't work.
    Troubleshooting Steps:

    1. Check for Overheating:
Ensure the fans are running properly and that there's adequate airflow in the case.
Consider using a tool like HWiNFO to monitor CPU and GPU temperatures.
    2. Verify GPU Drivers:
Update or reinstall your GPU drivers.
If the problem persists, try reinstalling Windows.
    3. Check RAM:
Run a memory test using HWiNFO or other tools.
Try different RAM slots or a single stick to isolate the issue.
    4. Software Issues:
Check for any recently installed software that might be conflicting with your system.
Consider resetting your PC to a previous configuration.
    5. Return for Replacement (if needed):
If the issue persists after trying the above steps, consider returning the PC to Acer for a replacement.
      Additional Notes:
Some users have reported that the problem disappeared when they put their fans on gaming mode.
Overheating can cause a computer to restart automatically.
Ensure your power supply unit (PSU) is sufficient for your components and not overheating.

Thank you for the comment. I've tried all of these and unfortunately it hasn't fixed the issue. I don't really like the sound of re-installing Windows as I don't want to risk losing data that I forgot to backup.

What does the dump file actually say? I'm not sure I'd trust AI to parse it well enough to point at the actual issue. The audio on these are from Realtek, IIRC, and that driver has been around for quite some time and is pretty robust.

Sorry for the late reply. I was about to get this from WinDBG from the dump file it creates. FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: 0x133_ISR_HDAudBus!HdaController::Isr

I've just done another WinDBG check and I got these results.

    BUGCHECK_CODE: 133BUGCHECK_P1: 1BUGCHECK_P2: 1e00BUGCHECK_P3: fffff80107d1d340BUGCHECK_P4: 0

It's also saying that my OS is Windows 10 (it was when I first got the PC) but it's currently running Windows 11. Not sure if that's relevant but thought I'd mention it anyway.
