Hello, I am using an Acer Swift SFG14-73 with BIOS version V1.13. While the fan works correctly in Windows, it does not spin up under high temperatures when I use Linux (Fedora 42). I’ve tested this by running CPU stress tools — temperatures exceed 100°C, but the fan remains silent, suggesting it is not controlled properly by the firmware under Linux. Fan control interfaces are not exposed to the OS, and no PWM sensors or control modules are available. I would like to know if there's a firmware or EC (Embedded Controller) update available to improve fan compatibility with Linux or allow BIOS-level fan configuration. Thank you.
