Hi There,

I'm facing a screen freez issue with my acer TV - ar32ar2841hdfl .

After the last software update, the TV doesn't start on its own, its stuck on the android logo and doesn't respond further.

The back side of TV model number is attached with this post. Please could you suggest a fix for this.

Here are the steps you can take to try to fix it:

Power Cycle the TV. This can sometimes resolve minor firmware glitches. Turn off the TV and unplug it from the power outlet. Press and hold the power button on the TV (not the remote) for 20-30 seconds. Leave it unplugged for at least 1 minute. Plug it back in and power it on.

If it’s still stuck on the Android logo. Try Recovery Mode (Hard Reset). Your Android TVs have a recovery mode that allows you to do a factory reset. To enter recovery mode. Unplug the power cord. Press and hold both the power and volume down buttons (located on the TV itself, not the remote). While holding the buttons, plug in the power cord again. Continue holding the buttons until the Android Recovery menu appears. If this doesn’t work, try pressing Power + Volume Up instead.

In the Recovery Menu. Use the volume buttons to navigate. Select "Wipe data/factory reset". Confirm the action using the power button. After it completes, select "Reboot system now". This will erase all your installed apps and personal settings, but it’s often the only way to fix boot issues.

If your TV doesn't go into recovery mode or the reset fails. It may require a manual firmware reinstall via USB. Visit the Acer support page for your TV model or contact Acer India Customer Care directly. You may need to request a firmware file and flashing instructions. If your TV is still under warranty, avoid DIY firmware flashing and contact Acer service. A technician may need to reflash the software or replace the mainboard.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
