Hi, the webcam is integrated in the system, open Device Manager-Cameras and uninstall the User Facing camera, just reboot and Windows will reinstall the webcam.

If the camera still isn't working after updating the drivers and you're seeing error code 0x00AF429F, it's likely a permissions or software issue. Try resetting the Camera app, checking camera access in privacy settings, running the Camera troubleshooter, and potentially rolling back the driver if the update caused the problem.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of troubleshooting steps:-

    1. Check Camera Access Settings:
Go to Settings > Privacy > Camera.
Ensure "Allow apps to access your camera" is turned on.
Verify that the specific apps you want to use with the camera have access.
    2. Reset the Camera App:
Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
Find the Camera app, select it, and then "Advanced options".
Click "Reset" to reset the Camera app.
    3. Run the Camera Troubleshooter:
Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshooting.
Click on "Additional troubleshooters" and select "Camera".
Follow the on-screen instructions to troubleshoot.
    4. Roll Back the Driver (If the update caused the issue):
      Open Device Manager.
Expand "Cameras" and right-click your camera.
Select "Properties" > "Driver" tab > "Roll Back Driver".
    5. Check for other background processes:
Make sure no other applications are actively using the camera.
    6. Reinstall the Camera App:
Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.
Find the Camera app and select "Uninstall".
Then, you can reinstall the Camera app from the Microsoft Store.
