Hi everyone,

Can anyone help me with the CPU upgrade in my PO3-620? I had the manual with this came but I lost it and I can't find it on the Acer website either. At the moment I have an Intel I7 10700 CPU @ 2.90 GHz but I want to upgrade to a higher one. The Bios version is R01-A2. Any help or advice will make my day.

Thank you

You don't really have a CPU upgrade available that will make any difference, since you are already running the i7. Changing power supplies is also going to be a problem, since yours should be the 500W ATX12VO supply that shipped with it. To move to a non-12VO supply requires some creative wiring…

Thank you Alejandro_AC, this will give me some idea for the upgrade. Any advice on what sort of power supply I need? I want to change it to 750watt.

Can it be improved CPU to Intec Core i9-10900 / 10900F?

Sure, but as I said it will not give much of a system improvement, except in some very specialized applications. It moves you from 8 cores to 10 with a slight drop in clock speed. As long as the new processor doesn't use more power and is in the same generation it should work, but perhaps without any special features (like the K models have).
