After upgrading the BIOS of my Acer Revo One RL85 (Core i3 4th gen) from version P11-A2 to P11-A3, my system no longer recognizes the boot drive. I've tried downloading the IRST driver, but it hasn't worked. What steps can I take to resolve this issue and restore access to the boot drive?

It sounds like the BIOS update might have altered some settings or compatibility with your boot drive. Here are steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.

In the BIOS, look for an option to Load Default Settings or Reset to Factory Settings. This can sometimes resolve issues caused by incorrect configurations.

Check BIOS Settings. Enter the BIOS setup by pressing the F2 key during startup. Ensure the boot mode is set to UEFI if your system was previously using UEFI or Legacy. Verify that the boot drive is detected under Boot Priority or Storage Configuration.

    Rebuild Boot Configuration:
Boot from a Windows installation media (USB or DVD).
Select Repair your computer > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Command Prompt.
    Run the following commands:
    bootrec /fixmbr
    bootrec /fixboot
    bootrec /scanos
    bootrec /rebuildbcd

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
