So basically, yesterday evening my laptop was on my desk idle at the desktop screen and suddenly I heard a click sound and the laptop shut itself down. It even tried to self-restart but ended up in black screen with the power button and keyboard lighted up, and the indicators are as follows:

Power Indicator: Blue (Normal)
Battery Indicator: Blue (Fully Charged)
HDD Indicator: Glowing blue for nearly 1 sec after the laptop is turning on, and is not lighting up for a single time even after keeping my laptop on for more than 1 hr.

Also, the acer logo is also not coming up, and I can't access the bios by pressing f2 key.
Caps Lock and Num Lock keys are not responding.

Hi, the P645-M laptop from 2015 is no longer supported by Acer, I recommend contacting an Acer accredited workshop near you to have the power rail and motherboard checked, include the power adapter.

If your Acer TravelMate P645 turns off unexpectedly and won't power on, start by ensuring the power adapter and cord are properly connected and working. If that doesn't resolve the issue, try a hard reset by holding down the power button for 15-30 seconds, releasing, and then quickly pressing it again. If the laptop still won't turn on, consider checking the battery and potentially replacing it, or attempting a BIOS boot.
    Troubleshooting Steps:

    1. Check Power and Connection:
Inspect the power adapter and cord for any damage (fraying, cracks, bent prongs).
Ensure the cord is securely plugged into both the adapter and the laptop.
Try a different outlet to rule out a faulty power socket.
    2. Hard Reset:
Hold down the power button for 15-30 seconds to force a shutdown, then release and quickly press it again.
    3. Battery Check:
If the laptop is plugged in, try removing the battery and plugging it back in.
If the laptop turns on when the battery is removed, it may indicate a battery issue.
Consider replacing the battery if it's old or damaged.
    4. BIOS Boot:
Attempt to boot into the BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) to check for any settings or errors.
You may need to press a specific key (like F2, DEL, or ESC) repeatedly during startup to enter the BIOS.
    5. Check for Overheating:
Ensure the laptop is not overheating by checking air vents and exhaust, and cleaning out the heatsink fan with compressed air.
Consider replacing thermal paste on the CPU if overheating persists.
    6. Professional Help:
If none of the above steps work, it's best to take the laptop to a qualified technician for further diagnosis and repair.
