Based on what you've described, here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially fix the problem.

First step is to Test the Key. Use an online keyboard tester Keyboard Tester to see if the "W" key consistently registers input. This can help determine if the issue is hardware-related.

Check Filter Keys. Even though you've turned off Sticky Keys, ensure that Filter Keys is also disabled. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard and toggle off Filter Keys.

Update or Reinstall Keyboard Drivers. Open Device Manager press Win + X and select it. Expand the Keyboards section, right-click your keyboard, and choose Update driver. If updating doesn't help, try uninstalling the driver and restarting your computer. It will reinstall automatically.

Adjust Keyboard Properties, Press Win + R, type control keyboard, and press Enter. Shorten the "Repeat delay" and increase the Repeat rate to make the keyboard more responsive.

Test with an External Keyboard. If possible, connect an external keyboard. If the issue doesn't occur with the external keyboard, it might confirm a hardware problem with your built-in keyboard.

Since you've already cleaned the key, the issue might be with the key switch itself. If it's oxidized or worn out, it may need replacement. It could be worth reaching out to the Acer Support for further assistance.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
