Dead Pixel Issue on Acer Nitro ANV15-51 – Out of Warranty

I have an Acer Nitro ANV15-51 laptop (SN: NHQNCEM004XXXXXXXXXXXX, SNID: XXXXXXXXXXX), which was purchased in Saudi Arabia. The warranty expired recently on April 9, 2025.

I’ve noticed a black spot on the screen, which I believe is a dead pixel. It doesn't go away and remains visible regardless of what is displayed. Since the device is just out of warranty, I’d like to know what my options are. Can this be repaired, and if so, what would be the expected cost? Also, is there any extended support available for this kind of issue?

Looking forward to your guidance.

Thank you.

Mohamed

If you’ve noticed a black spot on your screen that persists regardless of displayed content, it’s likely a dead pixel. Since your A315-24PT is just out of warranty, here’s what you can do about the dead pixel black spot on your screen.

Pixel-refreshing tools like JScreenFix or UDPixel may help if it’s a stuck pixel not fully dead, but a true dead pixel is usually permanent. Gently massaging the pixel area with a microfiber cloth sometimes revives stuck pixels, but this is not guaranteed.

Screen Replacement: The only guaranteed fix for a dead pixel. Here's the part number of the LCD screen. you may google it to check the price in your region.

If the repair cost is high close to a new laptop’s price, you may prefer to live with the dead pixel or upgrade.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
