No, not all Acer Aspire E5-511 laptops are touchscreen. The Aspire E5-511 series includes both touchscreen and non-touchscreen models. The Acer Aspire V5-573P-6486 laptop comes equipped with a touchscreen.
For instance, the Acer Aspire E5-511-P9S5 features a 15.6" CineCrystal LED-backlit display with a 1366 x 768 resolution, but it is not a touchscreen model . Conversely, there are models like the E5-511P and Acer Aspire V5-573P-6486 come with a touchscreen display .

To determine whether a specific Acer Aspire laptop has a touchscreen, you can:
Check the model number, Models with a 'P' suffix, such as E5-511P, V5-573P-6486 typically indicate touchscreen capability. Look for details about touch functionality in the product description or specifications.

Inspect the device physically, Touchscreen models often have a glossy screen surface and may display a "Touch" label on the bezel.

If you need assistance in verifying your laptop's touchscreen functionality Acer Support

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

The screen isn’t just a display, it includes a digitizer layer that needs power and data lines. Most non-touch E series models ship with a non-touch eDP cable. You’ll need a 40-pin eDP cable that supports touch, which may not be installed by default. They E-series nontouch don’t have touch digitizer pins or firmware support on the motherboard even if you plug everything in, Windows might never recognize touch input.

So, adding a touchscreen to an Acer Aspire E series laptop is technically possible but generally not practical. It requires not only a compatible touchscreen panel but also a specific touch-capable eDP cable and a motherboard that supports touch input, which most non-touch E series models lack. Even if the screen fits physically, the digitizer layer for touch may not function without the proper internal connections and firmware support. Additionally, the screen bezel and hinge may need modification to accommodate the added thickness and weight of a touchscreen. Because of these limitations, upgrading to a touchscreen on the E series is rarely feasible.

I seen a touch screen for a Acer Aspire E5-511P can I put this on to a Acer Aspire E5-511 and make it a touch screen or does it need a complete setup for a touch scren?

item is on eBay and says E5-511P TOUCHSCREEN Laptop Monitor, Hinge, Screws And Wifi Assembly for 25.00

if I buy that can I just simply put it onto my acer aspire E5-511 and turn it onto a touch screen

Not all Acer Aspire E5-511 laptops are touchscreen—some models have touch capability, but others do not. However, the Acer Aspire V5-573P-6486 does feature a touchscreen display. To confirm whether a specific model has touchscreen functionality, check the model number (models with a "P" suffix typically indicate touch support), review the product description, or inspect the screen for a glossy surface and touch label.
