How to set up the numeric pad correctly? --- AN517-55-98D8

Hello Community,

I have an AN517-55-98D8 with German keypad. On the right side we have the numeric key pad and actually I can use it either just for the numbers or just for for navigating (Home, End, PageUp and Down etc…)

The problem is, if I turn un NumLock, on order to use it like numeric pad (what I like) I don't have any keys activated for Home,End and so on…This 2 buttons would be important.

So how can I set up my keypad so, that I have the numeric pads on the right as usual and I have the Home and the End buttons also active? On the top, next to the PowerOn/Off key I have some arrows, probably they should be for Home and End, but actually they are always off.

Your concern is that Num Lock enables the numeric pad but disables navigation keys (Home, End, etc.), and you're hoping to have numbers always active on the numeric pad but also access Home and End both simultaneously.

On many compact keyboards or laptop keyboards, the numeric keypad shares keys with navigation functions like Home, End, Page Up, and Page Down. When Num Lock is ON, those keys become numbers only.
When Num Lock is OFF, those keys revert to navigation functions.

Possible Solutions is to use FN + Arrow Keys
the Home/End/Page Up/Page Down functions are mapped to the arrow keys with the FN modifier.
Try these:
FN + Left Arrow → Home
FN + Right Arrow → End
FN + Up Arrow → Page Up
FN + Down Arrow → Page Down
Look closely—there might be tiny icons printed on the arrow keys showing those functions often in blue or grey. These keys remain active regardless of Num Lock

Another option, consider using an external numeric keypad or full keyboard if you need more space and convenience.
