Hi, the laptop has one PCIe x2 slot for an NVMe or Sata-3 SSD up to 1TB. You installed a M.2 256GB SSD, Sata or NVme SSD, what brand and what model?

Hi, you can do that if you prefer to use UEFI but keep in mind that Acer installed the Toshiba HDD and initialized the HDD as MBR for a reason: to make it 100% compatible with the motherboard, there are pro and cons but for older systems like what you have legacy with MBR is recommended. Windows10 fully supports Legacy BIOS and MBR drive format but If you decide to jump to Windows 11 at some point then you'd need UEFI and GPT. However, the Acer F5-573G laptop does not meet the requirements for Windows 11. This model lacks a TPM 2.0 chip and features a 6th-generation Intel Core i5-6200U CPU, which does not support Windows 11's prerequisites like Secure Boot and TPM 2.0
