My brightness keys seem slow to respond than before. After my laptop gets turned on I always refresh a bit and if the brightness seems high I low it down with the help of brightness key, but now it seems real slow. Please anyone help me with it.

Likely there is a background application or service that is using enough resources to keep it from responding quickly to the keys.

PxiTpService is using 8 - 9.5% of my CPU. Is it a problem?

Whenever I open my laptop, it takes 30 to 40 seconds to function brightness keys. I didn't specify the problem before. So, sorry. I feel that before, it used to function right away after turning it on. But now it doesn't.

Which version of the PixArt touchpad driver are you running?

You can start by updating the drivers for your keyboard and display, which can be done by visiting Acer's official support page. Ensuring drivers are current helps maintain smooth functionality. Additionally, you can check background processes by opening Task Manager to identify and close any tasks consuming excessive CPU or memory, which may impact responsiveness. Finally, confirm that your operating system is fully updated, as system updates often resolve bugs and improve performance in a secure way.
