Hi,

I am trying to connect a printer to my Aspire 3 Spin 14 notebook. I'm getting a message saying windows in S mode only runs apps from the Microsoft store. We recommend getting a Microsoft verified app from the Microsoft store. I have downloaded a Canon printer app from the Microsoft store but I am still getting the same message when trying to install through the app. Is there a way of installing my printer without removing the S mode? as I understand this is not advisable and once done is irreversible.

Thank you

Canon does have some models that are compatible with Windows S mode,
    https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=FAQ100450
Please contact Canon printer support to check it is compatible.

In order to install this printer, I am afraid you will have to switch out of S mode. I include the instruction how to switch out of S mode in case you need it: Switching out of S Mode

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
