If you are using a docking station or USB-C DP adapter there may not be sufficient power for 2 external monitors. Connect the monitors to the power cords or plug in the power adapter to your PC. If this is not what you were asking, provide more details about your system.

I’m using a wall outlet for the monitor and it still won’t turn on. It was in for like 4 seconds but it turned off.

If your Acer ED320QR S3biipx monitor isn't powering on, check the power cable connections, test with a different outlet, and try a power reset by unplugging and holding the power button.

    1. Basic Checks:
Power Cable: Ensure the power cable is securely plugged into both the monitor and the power outlet.
Power Outlet: Test the outlet with another device to confirm it's working.
Power Button: Make sure the power button on the monitor is pressed and that the monitor is in the "on" state.
    2. Power Reset:
Unplug: Disconnect the monitor from the power source.
Hold Power Button: Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to drain any residual power.
Plug Back In: Reconnect the monitor to the power source and turn it on.
    3. Cable Issues:
      Check Cables:
Inspect the power cable and the display cable (VGA, HDMI, etc.) for any damage or loose connections.
      Try Different Cables:
If possible, try using a different power cable and display cable to see if the issue persists.
    4. Monitor Settings:
Reset to Defaults: Use the control buttons on the monitor to reset the settings to their factory defaults.
Check Input Source: Ensure the monitor is set to the correct input source (e.g., HDMI, VGA).
    5. Test with Another Computer/Monitor:
      Different Computer:
If possible, connect the monitor to a different computer to see if the issue is with the monitor or the computer.
      Different Monitor:
Try using a different monitor on your current computer to see if the issue is with the computer.
    6. Advanced Troubleshooting:
Bypass Surge Protector: Try connecting the monitor directly to a wall outlet instead of a surge protector.
Check for Physical Damage: Inspect the monitor for any signs of physical damage.
Update Drivers: Ensure your graphics card drivers are up to date.
Contact Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, contact Acer support for further assistance.
