UK query. Recently bought Inspire 1 with Win11 & MS365 (HDMI output) to replace old, not upgradeable Win10 laptop. Have existing VGA input projector (NEC LT25) which is serviceable. Need to connect projector via Bluetooth, previously VGA to VGA cable but cable connection no longer possible; laptop and projector 20 feet apart. Used for a maximum of thirty times per year to give lectures in a village hall by an aging and IT unaware group, so very simple and inexpensive solution required. Is an adaptor to meet this need available, if so which one would give reliability? If not, which inexpensive replacement projector is recommended that will send a PowerPoint presentations from an onboard PowerPoint app? Internet unavailable in this location. Any observations most welcome. Thank you.

HDMI and VGA are completely incompatible, so you need an active adapter which will decode the HDMI signal and produce equivalent VGA signal. HDMI is a digital format, VGA is an analog format. You buy an HDMI-to-VGA active adapter.

If you are looking to purchase a projector, you may contact an Acer store in your region. They will help you choose the a projector that suits your needs. Acer Store

Thanks Sharanji. Looks like it'd be better to replace the old projector. I have cobtacted the UK store.

You're welcome! You can try using HDMI-to-VGA active adapter so use use the old projector as a spare one to conduct more lectures and help people. it comes at a very cheap price online.
