First double check that bluetooth is turned on from settings.

    1. Check for Windows Updates:
      • Sometimes, Windows Updates include updated drivers.
      • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click "Check for updates."
      • Install any available updates, including optional updates.

    2. Check Device Manager for Bluetooth Adapter:

    • Device Manager shows you all the hardware connected to your computer.
    • Press Win + X and select "Device Manager."
    • Look for a "Bluetooth" category. Expand it.
    • If you see a Bluetooth adapter with a yellow exclamation mark: This indicates a driver problem or hardware.
    • If you don't see a "Bluetooth" category at all: It's possible the adapter is disabled or not being detected. Go to "View" in the Device Manager menu and select "Show hidden devices." If the Bluetooth adapter appears (possibly grayed out), right-click it and select "Enable device."

    3. Try Uninstalling and Reinstalling the Bluetooth Driver (from Device Manager):

    • In Device Manager (as described above), right-click on your Bluetooth adapter and select "Uninstall device."
    • Important: When prompted, make sure to check the box that says "Delete the driver software for this device" (if the option is available). This ensures a clean removal.
    • Restart your computer. Windows will often automatically reinstall the driver after a restart. If it doesn't, go back to Device Manager, right-click on your computer name at the top of the list, and select "Scan for hardware changes."
