RGB Nitro 50 - 650 series keyboard not lighting up properly, only caps lock works

My new RGB Nitro keyboard is plugged into my new Nitro 50, however although the caps lock and number lock keys light up when pressed, no other keys are lit, however it is an RGB keyboard and its meant to have interchangeable key colours.

The instruction manual states that it is plug and play and no additional drivers are required?

Keyboard shortcuts work, however when I press the cog key (the instructions say this is used to change colours), nothing happens?

Any ideas my fellow Acer users?

Thanks!

If you have the Nitro sense application on your new Nitro 50, you can change the keyboard RGB key colors. Launch the Nitro Sense application on your computer, which is designed to control various features, including keyboard lighting. Some Acer Nitro models use function key combinations to control keyboard backlight brightness and potentially change lighting effects. Fn + F9/F10

What is the full model number of your Nitro50? ANXXX-XX-XX

Thanks for your response Sharanji! I have Nitrosense, but there is no option to change keyboard settings, only the light bar and temperature units. The model is brand new Nitro 50 - 650 series, the keyboard is brand new also.

If your NitroSense application only shows options for light bar and temperature units, and not keyboard settings, it might be because your Acer Nitro model doesn't have RGB backlighting, or the keyboard settings are not accessible through NitroSense. If your keyboard has RGB backlighting (meaning individual keys can be lit with different colors), you should see keyboard settings in NitroSense.

That's what's confusing me Sharanji, as I've double checked the instructions, the box it came in, the store I purchased it from and the model and serial number on the Acer website and it's definitely the RGB model, yet the keys wont light up and it isn't appearing in Nitrosense. Potentially it could be a faulty item but I think the chances are slim. I've tried different USB ports and all the basic stuff, but to no avail. Stumped!
