How do I get the pop up adds to stop!

I have a new ACER laptop that I purchased from Sam's Club. I am now experiencing annoying pop up adds that I can't see to get to stop. Most of the adds are due to system warnings for virus.

Web push messages are notifications that originate from a website, although they can be shown even when your web browser is closed and not in use.
    Do as follows:
Open Chrome browser. At the top right, click the Customize and control Google Chrome (), then click Settings. Under Privacy and Security, click Site Settings, then Notifications. To block all notifications, select Don’t allow sites to send notifications.
To block notifications from a specific site, Click Add next to Not allowed to send notifications.
If a site that displays unwanted notifications is already in the Allow list, remove it:
Click the More actions () to the right of the domain name that you want to remove from the Allow list.
Click Remove. The site is removed from the Allow list.

For Edge browser, Open New Microsoft Edge. Click the Settings and more () at the top right.
Click Settings and then Cookies and site permissions. Scroll down to find All permissions and click Notifications. To block all notifications, turn off Ask before sending (recommended).
To block notifications from a specific site: Click Add next to Block option.
Type the website URL, prefixed with [.]. For example, type [.]website name.com to block all push notifications from the that websitename.com domain. Click Add. The site can no longer send push notifications through New Microsoft Edge.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
