Hello everyone, I have PREDATOR
Predator Helios 300
MODEL NO: N20C3

S/N: NHQC2AA007XXXXXXXXXXXX

So whenever I plug in the ac adapter it starts to beep a lot of random beeps. I tried looking up codes and can't find any that fit. The charging light also flashes, and the performance of the laptop is kinda all over that place. I've replaced the batteries with 2 other ones, and they hold zero charge and don't charge at all. I honestly have no clue where to start. So thank you for any help.

Hi, post you full laptop model like PH315-54-70BF, don't post serial numbers and N20C3 is the Acer series not the model number. the laptop will beep one time whenever plugging in or disconnecting the power adapter, use a barrel plug power adapter and not a USB-C charger. when it beeps repeatedly with the adapter plugged in there may be a bad DC or AC plug contact. Use the electrical wall outlet, no plug adapter, no extension cord and no power panels/docking station. The fact that the battery LED is flashing too confirms a power rail issue, try another adapter, change wall outlet, check the battery condition, if you can still charge the battery to 100% run a battery report, paste this in the command prompt: powercfg /batteryreport and open the report with your Edge browser, right click and select "Print to Microsoft PDF", attach the report to your reply, type @Puraw or use "Quote" when you reply so I will get an alert. If you cannot charge the battery anymore don't bother with the report but bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country, including the adapter.

The problem that you have is a power regulator fault in the charging rail of your laptop, there is nothing that you can do and/or any resets that will fix this problem. Your battery not charging especially if they are new is because they are locked due to this problem and the battery soldered fuse is blown. You need to take/send your laptop to an experienced technician that specializes in these sorts of problems, if you are in the UK there is a place called Sorin Electronics that specializes in this fault and he can fix this problem, see alo his site as he has a You Tube channel also and see there as he has repaired allot of laptops with the fault that you have.
