I have just bought an Acer CB272UEbiiprx Quad 27" LED Monitor, but I cannot get the speakers to work.

I look forward to hearing from you with your advice.

To play audio through a monitor with built-in speakers, ensure your computer's audio output is set to the monitor's speakers, typically via HDMI or DisplayPort, and adjust the volume through the monitor's or Windows' settings.

Thank you for your help Sharanji, but sadly it hasn't helped.

My system shows Realtek High Definition Audio only

I doubt if there is an internal speaker on this model.

    Examine the Audio Ports:
If the monitor has an audio-in port (often a 3.5mm jack), it likely has built-in speakers.
If the monitor only has an audio-out port, it's designed to output audio to external speakers, not to have speakers of its own
Inspect the front or sides of the monitor for any mesh-covered circular or oval openings, which could indicate the presence of speakers.

    Check the Windows Sound Settings:
If you're using Windows and have connected your monitor via HDMI or DisplayPort, you can check the sound settings to see if the monitor is listed as a playback device.
Right-click the speaker icon in the system tray, select "Playback devices," and see if your monitor is listed.

I have a grill on each side of the monitor, plus, in the specifications, it states that it has two speakers.

By right-clicking on the sound icon, all it shows is the Realtek High Definition Audio.

The reason I chose this one was for the internal speakers as well as spec of the monitor.

If that is the case, then I will be complaining to Acer as every bit of detail that I have seen has said that it does have speakers.

As said previously, if I had known, I would not have bought this model.
