So, I have a acer aspire a315-56 and I came across a video in which a person was dual booting mac OS and windows. Seeing that, I felt like I too want to do it. So that's exactly what I did. I installed mac OS even though I faced some trouble from the start. So, after all that was done, I had just a final step to finish up which was to move EFI files to the EFI partition on my disk from my bootable U which is exactly what I did and screwed up my EFI files, but I did fix it coz I had a bootable Hirens drive set up. I did screw up over 10+ times and finally I did it. Then I faced the next problem, I couldn't choose mac OS, which eventually was fixed with a CMD command and when I checked my bios, I got 2 windows boot manager entries out of which 1 was windows and the other mac. now that wasn't an issue for me, but my issue was I didn't get the open core picker anymore where I could choose between windows and mac. Again, after too many troubleshoots, I fixed it with the help of a video and once that was done, I did the final changes moving EFI partition successfully. I even got the open core picker after doing NV ram reset from open core. Now after that I installed, and application called EASYUEFI AND MADE an entry for open core and it definitely did work but that's when I noticed something was wrong with my boot priority order names. I checked it within windows again, it was fine, tried f12, it was fine, but bios showed me "2." When I pressed f6 to increase priority it showed me garbled text such as "2syH20". That's when I realized something was wrong and now idk wt. to do. It's just this that's messed up and rest of my bios is fine. I did try the load default settings but that just froze my bios 😕 😞. Kindly help me figure this out 😭😭😭.
BTW IM ABLE TO BOOT INTO WINDOWS AND MAC WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE
