To ensure that websites automatically default to .ca instead of .com and to set your location to Canada, you can update your region and location settings on your PC. Begin by opening Settings and navigating to Time & Language, then Region, where you should select Canada as your country. Next, under Privacy & Security, go to Location, and set your default location to a place in Canada by using the map or search bar.

To correct your laptop's incorrect location (USA instead of Canada), you can change the regional settings in Windows by going to Start > Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region, and then selecting "Canada" under "Country or region".
    Here's a more detailed breakdown:
    Access Windows Settings:
    Click the Start button.
Select "Settings" (it looks like a gear icon).
    Click on "Time & Language".
    Click on "Language & Region".
    Change the Region:
Under "Country or region", select "Canada" from the dropdown menu.
    Optional: Check Location Services:
Go to Start > Settings > Privacy > Location.
Ensure "Allow access to location on this device" is turned on.
You can also set a default location if needed.

To change your location on your laptop, connect to a VPN server in another location, which will hide and change your device's IP address.
