Hi, I just purchased a Acer Aspire Vero 16" 8GB-512GB. Everything works great, the color of the video is great. Except the white color glares to my eyes. I have to change the web browser to dark background to avoid the white glare of the web page. I try to reduce the brightness and contrast in setting, turn on the night light but it doesn't meet what I need. After using laptop to do Word for typing a document of 30' of surfing web, my eyes are burned. Does the new acer aspire vero have a movie mode so I can change it to reduce the white glare or any suggestion to reduce the white glare? My laptop uses Intel Graphic Command Center for adjust color. But as I said, all colors are great except the white glare on screen. How can I reduce it for perfect resolution. I have to look away 30 second to avoid eyes burned then look back to the screen to work.

You can disable Adaptive Brightness on Windows.
Click the Start button and open Settings elect System, then Display
lick Brightness Look for and turn off these options:
“Change brightness automatically when lighting changes”
“Help improve battery by optimizing the content shown and brightness”
    “Change brightness based on content”

    Also, check these settings.

    Adjust Intel Graphics Settings:
Open the Intel Graphics Command Center.
Go to System > Power and set Display Power Savings to Off for both battery and plugged-in modes
    Also Check Power Plan Settings:

Go to Control Panel > Power Options.
Select your power plan and click on Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings. Set the brightness levels for both battery and plugged-in states to the same value. From here adjust settings under the Sleep section as needed while on battery and plugged-in.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
